Taking the pain out of the whole debt management process (Online account planned for 2010)

Having debt or financial problems can have a major impact on your life.  We have streamlined our processes in such a way that you can apply for our Debt Management Plan without the hassle of having to go through call centres, web referrals or phone interviews.

Tracking the progress of a debt management plan in its early stages via a call centre or via the post  can also be stressful and time consuming on your part.  We have adapted and designed our online customer account in such a way that any changes to your account will immediately trigger an email, thus keeping you in the loop in almost real time.

 

1. The Application process

  • You can apply for your debt management plan online.  It is a complete application and takes about 15 minutes
  • You can call one of our debt advisors and they can help you complete it over the phone (9am - 5:00 pm).

 

2. Getting your debt plan started and negotiating your debt plan with your creditors

  • Once we have received your paperwork back its passed to a dedicated case manager
  • We immediately contact any priority creditors and start working out a plan
  • We request up to date account balances from all your creditors and inform them of your current situation
  • Once we obtain up to date balances, your account is updated and you are notified
  • We create a pro-forma repayment plan for all your creditors
  • Once your repayment plan is agreed, we schedule your 1st payment and your plan is live!

 

3. Managing your Debt Management Plan via your online customer account (planned for 2010)

  • Track your payments and your overall debt balance
  • Change any of your details (address etc)
  • Update any change in circumstances
  • Make overpayments into your account
  • Notify us if you want to make underpayments
  • Communicate with us in private via the web
  • We constantly monitor your account and perform regular reviews to ensure we are always up to date
