Debt management plans and IVA's compared
What is the best option for me?Without analysing your current financial situation it is fairly difficult to give you definitive advice. We do however believe that IVA's are a good option if you have more than £15,000 worth of debt. We recommend you give us a quick call to discuss your situation or simply use our online application to see what we recommend. Our system will generate the most suitable option for you. You don't have to commit to our plan to see your results.
Some companies are marketing IVA's and recommending them for combined debts as low as £15,000Unfortunately the profit margins for debt management plans are much lower than those of IVA's, and some companies market IVA's aggressively for this reason. We strictly market debt management plans and will be able to give you an informed opinion on which Solutions we believe is best for you once you have completed our application or contacted us. If an IVA is right for you we will can recommend you to an IVA provider.
Other debt solutionsOther than debt management plans the following alternatives may be available subject to your current situation.
Debt consolidation loansProvided you have sufficient equity in your home a secured loan will allow you to pay off your debts and repay a smaller amount every month over a longer period. Debt Solutions 4U can arrange debt consolidation loans via our IVA. If you apply for a debt management plan and we identify you as a candidate for a debt consolidation loan.
BankruptcyIf the results of your application indicate that you may be a better candidate for personal bankruptcy, we can refer you to a qualified insolvency practitioner. Again, we do not earn commission for doing this. However we can complete the Bankruptcy papers on your behalf for a small fee.
